On the grounds of an abandoned airport a few miles northwest of Downtown Orlando, this, the first of three events is designed to uncover the fastest man, woman and collegiate athlete in Central Florida.  The race is a combination of trail running, open fields and uneven terrain, culminating in a sprint down the paved runway to the finish line...  This course is incredibly flat and should be the fastest of the three!

The Master of All Terrains 5k Series is comprised of three 5k race events at three different off-road sites around the Central Florida area.  There is a system of points, described in the rules page, that will determine the overall winners who can then call themselves the Masters of All Terrain.

Medals for top 3 athletes in Age Groups at each race, awards for the fitness challenge, and of course the cash prize and a commemorative plaque to fastest Male and Female Overall!

We’ve commandeered a motocross track and its surrounding fields for the second out of three scored events.  It will be dirty, it will be dusty and it will be challenging.  This race is designed to test your endurance up and down the man made hills of a motocross track before you open up into the fields and step on the gas.  We know of a few garage runners who may have an edge up on the rhythm section of this bad boy.

Event#1: grass

A portion of our proceeds go to:

Event#2: Dirt

Event#3: Trails

Deep into the scenic trails of Moss Park nature reserve you’ll be tested one last time for your final chance to seize the title of Master of All Terrain..  This course starts out wide enough to establish your place among your heat before heading into and out of a series of windy trails in a tour through the county park.  Break out those Vibrams® if you’ve got em, the soft hay mulch has abundant give through the turns..

Off Road Marathon | Half Marathon | Five Miler
The Marathon.  26.2 Miles, covered on foot, at one time.  The Masters of All Terrain Off Road Marathon will take you through trails, grass, dirt and packed earth, over bridges, through twists and turns in the lush, natural wild landscape of Florida. Tentatively set to take place in the Seminole State Forest. This marathon will take you through many ‘scene changes’ from dense forest trails, to wide open florida saw grass planes; the views are awe inspiring!
All Masters of All Terrain races take place entirely off road in an attempt to add beauty and nature to your otherwise asphalt dominated race calendar.
Special Needs Half Way Drop Bag:
Taking a cue from ultra distance races, we add a Half Way Point Drop Bag to our events.  In it you can put whatever you might want or need half way through your run.  A chocolate bar? Sure! A change of socks? Well thats a good idea!  Anything you want. OFF_ROAD_MARATHON.html
ULTRA-SHANTY TOWN
Those of you running the 50-Miler or 50k races on January 7th will be assigned a spot on the run way to set up shop for the duration of the day.

You’re more than welcome to set up a tent or pop-up, bring a table, food, a cooler, whatever you need to be comfortable throughout your very long journey. We will even have some spare generator power routed into the shanty town in case you’ve got support members who need to keep their devices charged or use low power draw items as the day goes by.

You will be passing through this area three times for the 50-Miler and once for the 50k as you approach the festival area.
